Stellite unique alloys are manufactures eighter with Co or Ni as the main component. This creates certain properties with regards to both wear-/temperature-/and corrosion. These alloys differs from Carbide as they are produced by melt casting and they can be machined with the use of conventionel milling and turning tools. After machining these parts do not need hardening and a hardness of up to 800 HV can be achieved.
